[ Gasp. ]

Well, yes.

[ Anyway - since he is starting to feel bad about wasting his time, but he does feel like they're "getting along" so it's hard to give up some quality time. ]

But to finally answer you question, no, I'm not too concerned about much now that issue has been put to rest.

[ As worrying as worrying is, he is reassured that Kamui is not present. While he acted foolish and silly, he is still alive. While he's anemic and weakened, the city is filled with people who want others to survive. He'll live on - or he won't. Anxiety creeps up and palms may be sweaty, but he reassures himself about these two things. He'll die or he won't.

He hopes to not die, because he wants to see the end of all the machinations - Sleep's, One's and his band, the Vessels, everyone's. It seems only fair; he missed the Final Battle so fate and destiny owes him this much.

But he does pause at what Seishirou has said - and that brings a sobering feeling that he isn't quite sure what to do with. ]

Really?

That's quite disquieting to hear.

Yes, well --

[ Hm - does he have anything to add. ]

-- I'm still alive.

He's so clever and educated.

How could I ever hope to be?

[ Huh. The first two points are funny to think about, but the last one makes him tilt his head just slightly. The Sakurazukamori really keep a close eye on their enemies. But that makes sense. Probably.

His shoulders bounce as he chuckles to himself. Feeling the anxiety roll around his shoulders in an uncomfortable manner; the sweatiness of his palms still is uncomfortable. But he can laugh and that is marvelous. ]

I appreciate your confidence in me. [ Another smile. ]

I suppose I've cried on your shoulder enough, hm?

[ He lightly (though frantic in the light touch) drumming his index finger against one knuckle. ] If you ever feel the need to break out a good sob, my shoulder is always ready -- along with a good and hardy pat on the back.

Please don't say thing like that... that really will make me cry.

[ But you know -- he squints at nothing in particular and wonders if he should share his "revelation" that he had earlier. He frowns immediately afterward, feeling reluctant, but he also thinks it will be fun to say. So why not say it? ]

Anyway! I already decided I'd die for Subaru and you, so don't feel like it isn't mutual in some very small way.

[ He likes how he starts that statement with an "anyway," and feels another smile hit him past the myriad of unfun emotions plaguing him. ]

You know me well.

To be honest, I feel the same way.
salaryman: (what if; in fact; you're just disgusting)

Until later, Seishirou.
