It's great! Everyone I love and care about are living better lives and they're happy. I'm...not a part of their lives anymore, but. That's okay.

Heh, yep, that's me! Little Miss Unfortunate. But... I like this better than faking my own death.

I thought about doing that back home, so my sis would be happy. Well. Not just for my sis, but for my people, the cities. No one was going to give up or move on unless I was out of the picture. I was in the middle of setting up the plans before Sleep brought me here.

Would she have been? Happy.

Eventually. She won't get it now, but time heals all wounds, blahblahblah. She'll be bouncing back before she knows it. And so will everyone else.

What makes you so certain?

I think people are used to the habit of other people's company.

Because I've been ruining her life since I was born. It's kind of my whole thing. I pop into someone's life, I screw things up for them, and I cause problems. And if we're lucky, they die. Whether I want them to or not.

Forgive me for the cruel question, but that doesn't that assume you hold a little too much power?

Hey, I didn't make the rules, alright? Some people were born lucky and in this case, I was born unlucky.

And faultless, is that? Being this is all an accident of birth.
